Abstract

The edges of each face of the cabinet comprise square-section tubes (2,3,4), into the hollow ends of which are plugged stubs projecting orthogonally from solid corner-pieces (1). Retaining screws are driven through the tube sides into the stubs. Lockable side panels (5,6), one of which is opt. hinged (7), are fitted on each face and levelling-feet (9) are screwed to each bottom corner-piece. The height may be doubled, when in service, without disturbing existing installed equipment or wiring, by removing the top plate and erecting on the top corner-pieces 4 edge-tubes supporting a top frame of similar construction, afterwards reusing the top and fitting panels to the four added faces. Components are of aluminium or steel - opt., wood.

Description

 The present invention relates to a modular device which can be easily assembled and dismantled, intended to receive electronic equipment and / or all wiring systems on plates.

 The integration of these materials is usually carried out in cabinets or frames assembled in the factory and not modular in their height, in other words they do not present any possibility of stacking.

 The invention makes it possible to double in height the capacity for integrating equipment in a basic module by adding an extension module on top.

 This operation is carried out without touching the existing basic module and therefore without disconnecting the equipment and cabling in operation inside.

 This technique is possible thanks to the very design of the frame made up of profiles connected to each other by connecting elements machined in the mass, drilled with horizontal holes for fixing the profiles and drilled with a vertical hole right through. fixing the adjustable support cylinder to the ground and the roof fixing screws.

 The device according to the invention of this module, which can be assembled and dismantled on demand, also allows kit storage, thus reducing the storage volume compared to the existing module by 80%.

 This basic module consists of 8 pieces of angles (1) allowing the tubes (2,3,4) to fit together.

 After this assembly, 4 panels (5,6) including one fixed on vertical hinges (7) and the other three mounted on profile (8), all equipped with a lock, are to be installed in the profiles provided for this purpose.

 The roof comes to rest on the upper part of the module and is fixed by screws fitting into the vertical holes of the corner pieces.

 This device rests on adjustable feet (9) adapting to the ground, inserted in the vertical holes of the corner pieces.

 For an extension of the module, simply remove the roof and add 4 tubes and 4 corner pieces according to the same process as for the basic module. As soon as the assembly is complete, simply place the roof, previously removed from the base module, on the extension module in the same way as on the base module.

 Depending on the uses and embodiments, the module may be made of aluminum or steel metal or of wood possibly covered with a coating of all kinds whether it is glued, thermoformed or liquid.

 Depending on the uses and embodiments, the module can be fitted with closure panels on the four faces of glass, altuglass, wood or metal covered with a coating of all kinds whether glued or liquid or thermoformed and possibly they are partially glazed.

 Depending on the uses and embodiments, the module can be fitted with closure panels on the four faces mounted on hinges, hinges, magnets, profiles or screws. A lock, possibly with a key, can be mounted on each panel.

 1) Basic module of a modular device which can be assembled and dismantled intended to receive electronic equipment and all wiring systems on a plate, characterized in that it comprises:  8 pieces of angles machined in the mass (1) allowing the addition  of tubes (2,3), the horizontal holes allowing on the upper part  fixing the roof, the vertical holes allowing the fixing of parts  adjustable.  2) Basic module according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises 4 panels including one fixed on vertical hinges, the other 3 mounted on profiles, all equipped with a lock.  3) modular extension system comprising a base module according to claims 1 or 2 characterized in that it further comprises an extension module with 4 tubes and 4 corner pieces adding to the base module having removed previously the roof, the roof being mounted on the extension module.  4) This modular system according to claim 3 characterized in that the extension module comprises panels on the four faces.
