- Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier à cet inconvénient. I1 comporte en effet un filtre de gaze en pur coton hydrophile situé à deux centimètres environ à l'un des bouts ou extrémité de la bougie (coté oreille). Ce qui permet de laisser passer le cérumen ramolli et ainsi de le retenir. La bougie auriculaire est creuse, formée par un enroulement en spirale d'une bande de tissu en pur coton autour d'un support cylindrique. L'ensemble est ensuite plongé dans un bain de cire fondue.
