Abstract

A device is claimed for applying paraffin to an enameled copper wire using a petrol solvent. The device comprises a system to heat the paraffin to render it liquid, a pump to convey the paraffin onto a hot or tempered lining, and a scraper of rubber or other suitable material such as leather which eliminates the surplus paraffin deposited on the wire.
