Abstract

The lock for a glass door comprises a restraining plate (1) which clamps the door. A soft iron plate (18) is fixed on the restraining piece and a magnetic element (2) attracts the soft iron plate. The restraining plate comprises a base plate (11), and first (101) and second (102) lateral plates directed downwards from the base plate. A groove (10) is formed between the two lateral plates. A rubber pad (16) is placed in the first lateral plate and a double thickness cushion (17) is placed in the second lateral plate. The second lateral plate has a threaded hole (12), two positioning holes (14) and several round holes (13). Pegs (15) are inserted in the corresponding round holes. The soft iron plate has a hole (181) and two positioning tenons (182) which are inserted in the corresponding positioning holes. A screw (19) fixes the soft iron plate to the second lateral plate.
