Abstract

The table napkin (1) is made in paper and has an adhesive (2) in one corner to fix it to a garment. The adhesive is removable and can be repositioned. The corner of the napkin is turned down to cover the adhesive before use. The adhesive can be double sided and covered with a protective layer before use. The protective layer can be joined to a tongue for removing it.

Description

 The present invention relates to a disposable napkin, in particular made of paper, comprising a punctual device, which makes it possible to maintain it on the user's clothing. without the need to wedge it, tie a knot in it, or use an external accessory.

 Only a few decades ago, towels were tied around the neck. This habit has gone out of fashion and the traditional cloth towel is more and more often replaced by a disposable paper towel.

 Whether it is "fast food", transport (plane, train, boat), collective catering, traditional catering (breweries). meals delivered to your home, receptions (lunches, buffets), picnics, or simply meals taken at home, this phenomenon of disposable napkins has become part of everyday life.

This market is huge.

 However, one of the major shortcomings of this type of napkin is that we are constantly picking it up under the table. They especially make the happiness of the dyers and the merchants of ties. In fact they are really not ideal for eating tomato spaghetti. .or a hamburger with ketchup.

 Somewhere they have lost part of their essential function allowing the user to avoid trying to eat while eating.

 The present invention overcomes these drawbacks.

 It is characterized by the fact that a disposable towel, in particular made of paper, has on one of its faces and on part of its surface a device allowing it to hold vertically on the user's chest.

 Said towel thus formed is positioned by a simple application on the garment.

In one embodiment, the holding device consists of a part comprising an adhesive incorporated on the support that constitutes the towel, and the composition of which makes it possible to adhere to a garment without causing the degradation of the latter. I1 exist a number of adhesives having these characteristics, adhesives in particular said removable or repositionable type. By way of non-exhaustive examples, reference may be made to the references 730, 720. and ReMount from 3M. PROKEM 650 from
PROKEM, or SERICOL T fix extra from SERICOL.

 In a variant of this embodiment, the adhesive part is optionally folded back on itself before use.

 In another embodiment, the holding device consists of an adhesive of the double-sided type, the composition of which also makes it possible to adhere to a garment without causing degradation, comprising an external protection with or without a gripping tab, that the user remove before use. Mention may be made, as non-exhaustive examples of adhesives, of references 4960 and 4963 from TESA, 804 and 805 from BARNIER, 9415, 9416 and 9425 from 3M.

 In another embodiment, the device consists of a single-sided adhesive, the composition of which also makes it possible to adhere to a garment without causing degradation, a part of which is applied to the support constituted by the towel, and the another part, which protrudes from this support, has an external protection with or without a gripping tab, which the user removes before use. By way of non-exhaustive example, reference 254 from 3M may be cited.

 The accompanying drawings illustrate by way of nonlimiting examples various embodiments of the present invention.

 In Figure 1 is shown the invention which comprises a support (1) consisting of the material of the towel and a holding device (2) consisting of a point adhesive type repositionable or removable.

 In Figure 2 there is shown the holding device (2) according to Figure 1 folded on itself before use.

 In Figure 3 there is shown the holding device (2) consisting of a double-sided adhesive comprising a removable protection (3) itself comprising a gripping tab (4).

 FIG. 4 shows the holding device (2) consisting of a single-sided adhesive, part of which (5) is applied to the support formed by the towel (1), and of which the other part (6), which protrudes from this support, comprises a removable protection (3) itself comprising a gripping tab (4).

 In Figure 5 there is shown the holding device (2) positioned in an angle of the support (1).

Claims (8)

 1. Disposable towel (1), in particular made of paper, characterized in that it includes a device (2) allowing it to maintain it, independently, by application to the support that constitutes the clothing of its user, without 'it is necessary to wedge it, tie a knot in it, or use an external accessory (fig.l).  2. Towel according to claim 1, characterized in that the device (2) which ensures its maintenance consists of an adhesive, in particular of the removable or repositionable type. previously applied to part of its surface (fig.l).  3. Towel according to claims 1 and 2. characterized in that the pre-glued part is optionally folded back on itself before use (fig. 2).  4. Towel according to claim 1, characterized in that the device (2) which ensures its maintenance consists of an adhesive of the double-sided type, comprising an external protection (3) with or without gripping tab (4 ), prepositioned on part of its surface (fig. 3).  5. Towel according to claim 1 characterized in that the device (2) which ensures its maintenance consists of an adhesive of the single-sided type, a part (5) is applied to the support (1) that constitutes the towel and the other part (6) which protrudes from this support has an external protection (3) with or without a gripping tab (4) (fig. 4).  6. Towel according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the device (2) is applied to one of the corners of the support (fig. 5).  7. Towel according to one of the preceding claims characterized in that the device (2) is applied to an edge of the support (Fig. 6).  8. Towel according to one of claims (1-4) characterized in that the device (2) is applied to the center of the support (fig. 7).
