Abstract

The key holder has a truncated conical body (1) which has a flat base (2) on its smaller upper end. A projection (3) from the base has a hole (4) through which the key ring (11) is fixed. Description

 The present invention relates to a device ensuring both the functions of key holder and cap for pen, mini-vaporizer, dispenser of viscous products and other sticks.

 Traditionally, a keychain can be composed of a ring sliding in an orifice arranged on a body made of plastic or other material.

 This body can have a variable shape to ensure an aesthetic function, to be moved and spotted easily.

 Traditionally, a pen, a mini-vaporizer, a dispenser of viscous products or any other stick which may contain a product, for example, of perfumery or care, can be provided with a cap made of plastic or any other material.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to reconcile the functions of a key holder and that provided by the cap of a pen, a mini-vaporizer, a dispenser of viscous products or any other stick.

 It comprises, in fact, according to a first characteristic, a body of injected plastic, such as polypropylene, polyamide, polyethylene or any other plastic or elastomer.

 This body has a frustoconical shape, the cone angle of which is less than 10 degrees, most generally equal to 3 degrees.

The largest internal diameter of the cone is between 5 and 15 mm, for example 11 mm, which makes it possible to adapt to different diameters of pens. mini vaporizers, dispensers for viscous products and other sticks. The length of the cone is between 10 and 60 mm, for example 30 mm.

 The thickness of the injected plastic part is between 0.5 mm and 2 mm, for example 0.8 mm, to ensure sufficient flexibility in deformation.

 Inside the injected plastic body, there may be arranged in excess thickness, several ribs, most generally three, located 9 120 degrees from one another, over all or part of the height of the injected plastic body.

 The injected plastic body is closed on the part of smaller diameter, by a flat bottom.

 On the flat bottom, is obtained, also by injection, outside the body, a protuberance provided with an orifice.

 In this orifice, a ring, for example broken, metallic or plastic or any other material, with a diameter between 8 and 26 mm, for example 14 mm, is passed.

 In this hole, one can also pass any system other than a ring, for example, a hook mesh.

The hook ring or mesh can also be attached to the lower base of the pen, mini spray bottle, viscous product dispenser or other stick.

 The orifice of the protuberance injected with the body and its flat bottom can have the shape of a ring thus replacing the added ring or the hook mesh.

 It is advantageously possible to fit, with or without bonding, a cover, for example made of anodized aluminum, also of frusto-conical shape partly closed, on part of the flat bottom and on all or part of the cone of the injected plastic body.

 This hubcap can be used for information or any other advertising indication, obtained by screen printing or by any other means, to obtain this effect.

 In the event that the hubcap is not used, the plastic body may be the medium for information or any other advertising indication.

 The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention. Figure 1 shows in longitudinal section the device according to the invention. Figure II shows in cross section the same device.

 With reference to FIG. 1, the device comprises a frusto-conical body (1), the portion of which of smaller diameter is closed by a flat bottom (2) and a protuberance (3), the latter being provided with an orifice ( 4).

 The inner part of the frusto-conical body has three ribs (5) (6) and (7), which can promote adhesion to the body of the pen, the mini-vaporizer, the dispenser of viscous products or the stick. They are shown in Figure 2 and in part in Figure I.

 Similarly, the angle of the cone (8) also promotes this adhesion.

 According to a variant also in the illustration of Figure 1, one can add a cover (9) on the flat bottom and the body of the cone. This hubcap abuts at the shoulder (10) of the cone.

 According to a variant not illustrated, this cover can be applied to a cone without shoulder.

 According to a variant not illustrated, this cover or the plastic body can be used as an advertising medium or as an information medium.

 By way of nonlimiting example, the body has its largest diameter on the order of 11 mm, its cone angle on the order of 3 degrees and its height on the order of 30 mm.

 The ribs (5,6 and 7), if they exist, can be three in number, over the entire height of the cone or only over part of the height.

 In the orifice 4, in the example, a ring (11) with a diameter of the order of 14 mm, slides.

 According to a variant not illustrated, the ring can be made integral with the body (12) of the pen, the mini vaporizer, the dispenser of viscous products or other stick, by the same means as in the example described in FIG. 1.

The thickness of the cone can be between 0.5 and 2 mm, for example 0.8 mm, and can be made of plastic material, elastomer, or any other material. In the example, it has a shoulder (10).)
The hubcap (9), also of frustoconical shape adapted to the body (1) and to its flat bottom (2), can be made of anodized aluminum or any other material and can be fitted by clamping or glued to the body (1) or snapped.

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended to serve as a cap for pens, mini-sprays, dispensers for viscous products or any other stick, containing a perfumery or cosmetic product, while also serving as a key holder.

Claims (6)

 1) Device serving both as a key holder and as a cap, for pens, mini-sprays, dispensers for viscous products or other stick containing perfumery or cosmetic products, characterized in that it comprises a body (1) frusto-conical, which allows on its cone part of smaller diameter, by a flat bottom (2) and a protuberance (3) in which there is an orifice (4), to have a ring (11) sliding in the orifice.  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized by the existence of ribs (5) (6) and (7), inside the body (1) over all or part of the length.  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized by a body (1) having an angle of the cone (8) less than 10 degrees, most generally 3 degrees, its largest diameter between 5 and 15 mm which fits on the pen , the mini vaporizer, the viscous product dispenser or stick (12).  4) Device according to claim 1 characterized by the presence of a shoulder (10) on the body (1).  5) Device according to claim 1 characterized by a cover (9) which fits by clamping, by gluing, or by snap-fastening, on the external part of the body (1) and on its flat bottom (2).  6) Device according to claims 1 and 4 characterized by a cover (9) which can be applied in abutment of the shoulder (10) of the body (1).
