Abstract

A fastening system for electrodes used in electrotherapy consists of a perforated neoprene garment (1) with holes (5) to receive electrodes (7), positioned inside the garment and in line with at least one group of muscles. The electrodes have conductor terminals which pass through the holes and are connected by electrical wires (2) to an electrical stimulator unit with a rechargeable battery. The stimulator unit and battery can be fitted to the garment in the form of a back-pack with fastenings especially of 'Velcro' (RTM), and is connected to a control unit (6) on the garment sleeve, also fixed with 'Velcro' fastenings.
