Abstract

The response machine has an electronic equipment enclosure for producing responses, and has a keyboard with buttons each corresponding to a different possible response. The machine prints the selected answers, chosen by using the push button (35), on a sheet of paper, using an inbuilt printer. Each answer is validated (34) before advancing the paper. Once the series of answers has been selected, a second paper sheet is printed. The second sheet has a number indicating the question number, together with the chosen response and the correct response. The correct response may be in code.
