Abstract
A component of "inconel 718" alloy is manufactured by cold-flow shaping or by cold drawing, then aged by heat treatment. The ageing heat treatment consists of heating the component to a temperature of between 400 and 600 degrees C and soaking it at this temperature for between 10 and 20 h. The component is then cold-flow shaped with a reduction ratio of between 10 and %.
