Abstract

The motor has a rotor, a stator and a control circuit (2). The latter is connected between the rotor and the stator. The stator has a single spool (1) with two terminals (11,12). These are connected together by the control circuit (2) such that the polarity of the two terminals (11,12) alternately changes so that the rotor of the motor rotates. The control circuit (2) may include a first group of transistors (21,22,23,24) and a second group of transistors (25,26,27). The spool (1) of the stator is connected between two transistors of these groups which are simultaneously conductive whereby the spool (1) generates an alternating current. The control circuit (2) may be formed as an integrated circuit e.g. as a miniature-chip.
