Abstract

The tool has a number of wheels (4) driven by an electric motor (6). These with a number of counter wheels (14) allow the coiled draw wire to the driven through the tool by friction of the wheels. The wheels are fitted in a housing (1) which has a projecting wire guide (16) that is introduced into the conduit. An even number of drive and counter wheels are housed in a detachable cover (13) fixed to the tool housing so that the cover can be attached by a screw (15) placed approximately at the centre of the length of the cover. An equal number of wheels are on either side of the screw. The screw includes an adjuster (20) to set the pressure of the drive wheels against the counter wheels.
