Abstract

The system for handling information for small scale objects includes use of a code-reading pen (1) for reading a code such as a bar-code (C) associated with the small scale object. The code reading pen is connected to a microprocessor (7) associated with a working memory (8). A further data store is provided by a card reader (11) and a card (10) carrying an integrated circuit (9). The microprocessor is connected to a display screen (12) and/or a printer (13).
