Abstract

The object, intended to be seen rather than to illuminate, has the dimensions of a cigarette-lighter and encloses two non-rechargeable batteries (1,2) in series and a lamp (3) of appropriate voltage. Electrical contact between the batteries is maintained by a copper spring strip (5). The batteries are not insulated and connection to the lamp is made by finger pressure on a stud (4). The plastic body completely covers the lamp and colours the emitted light. Red and green-emitting devices can be distinguished by an electronic camera.

Description

 The present invention relates to a light device, the size of a lighter, intended to emit colored light.

 The energy source is very similar to a small flashlight: 2 batteries of an adequate voltage (1) eut (2) are connected in series and power a bulb (3) adapted to this voltage.

 Contact is established by a flexible spring wire (4) fixed on the side of the battery (1) and capable of making contact with the bulb (3) which is fixed; the contact is established by simple pressure on the body of the object, the contactor coming to press on the bulb during the pressure.

 The batteries (1) and (2) are enclosed by the body of the plastic, the + of the battery (1) connected to the - of the battery (2) by a copper strip (5) springing up and permanently establishing contact between the two batteries, the contact of the battery (2) with the bulb (3) also being constant.

 The batteries are bare and not covered with an insulating jacket. Thus the contactor remains in contact with the battery (1) on the same body of the key, the free part coming into contact with the bulb (3) during pressure.

 The object is not rechargeable and will be discarded after use.

The originality is that the whole body of the object (made of plastic) completely covers and covers the bulb. The light thus emitted produces an intense and colored point of light, the light being diffused through the plastic envelope which gives it its color. The purpose of this device differs from a flashlight in that the light emitted is intended to provide a light head diffusing through the plastic and not a light emitted to project a light beam like a conventional lamp.

 Taking into account the fact that the light emitted is very different depending on the plastic material used, we can have a very efficient use in the case where the user will have at his disposal two objects, for example one green and the other red . By common symbolism, the green color shows approval, red the refusal or reprobation. Thus a spectator can symbolically indicate his agreement or disagreement depending on whether he uses one or the other of these objects.

 In the case of a stadium or a performance hall, the number of green and red points will therefore mark the degree of satisfaction or disagreement of the spectators present.

 The use of a selective electronic camera will thus be able to count at any time (at precise time t) the satisfaction index of the spectators equipped with these objects.

 In addition, throughout a show, the camera will therefore be able to give a satisfaction curve during the total duration of the event.

 On the other hand, taking into account the fact that sports clubs usually have two colors symbols of their team: each supporter will thus be able to mark his membership of the club by waving objects with the appropriate colors. We can thus have a blue platform and a red platform.

 The phenomenon of enthusiasm marked by the fact that spectators rise in turn, a kind of wave running all around the stands - phenomenon commonly known as OLA - will be amplified and energized by the use of new objects.

 The object provides great security compared to the simple lighted lighter which currently remains one of the most common means used during concerts or shows.
