Abstract

The device protects wares consisting of a cover (1) with pages (2) glued into it. The binding operation forces the glue (3), in which magnetic particles (4) are dispersed in a random orientation, between the pages. The marking, which is invisible from the outside of the cover, is magnetised preferably before the glue is dry so that the particles adopt a homogeneous orientation in a weak DC magnetic field. The magnetisation may be performed after drying, given a sufficiently strong field for the reduced mobility of the particles.

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device making it possible to protect objects stolen from the @ PUBLIC sale from theft, by an inexpensive process and sufficiently discreet not to distort the aesthetics of this object.

 Before approaching the main provisions of the invention, it is worth recalling the difficulties encountered on the occasion of the public sale of objects of small size or of small size.

 The present invention therefore aims to allow the magnetic marking of a wide range of products, using an inexpensive marker, erasable, easy to set up, and not denaturing the aesthetics of the products.

This orientation will be stabilized upon drying of the adhesive, protecting the assembly thus obtained from untimely demagnetization.

 It is understood that the magnetization process can be carried out after the glue has dried, but the intensity of the magnetic field required is higher, due to the world of mobility of the magnetic particles.

 This magnetization can be erased at will by the following process, known per se: the object is subjected to an alternating magnetic field regularly decreasing, until complete extinction. The object is then received magnetically neutral.

A simple demagnetization method consists in passing the object through the center of a alternating magnetic field of constant intensity and moving it away from it with a regular movement
