Abstract

The working desk includes a section of worktop which is able to slide horizontally, opening to allow access to a computer which is stored within the desk. The computer sits on a cantilever supported platform, so it is able to rise up to an operating position standing up above the desk surface. A motor and pulley system is provided, so that at the touch of a button the computer screen is raised into the operating position. Similarly it may be retracted in order to leave a clear working surface. The supporting structure for the computer is made of aluminium struts and profiles, with an X-shaped support lying under the support plate. End-of-course detector switches are built into the mechanism, in order to stop the driving motor when the computer assembly reaches the required position. The motor and control system operates from mains voltage alternating current, connected via a transformer.

The present invention relates to the production of a luxury office with a computer extraction system, intended for senior managers and the liberal professions.

 At present, these professionals in most cases have computer systems that are often used either to access information available on the corporate network or to read and update information about their clients or patients.

 These people therefore do not have an intensive use of IT, but it is part of their daily life.

 Their workplace, like doctors and lawyers, must be opulent and comfortable. Also, the furniture is often stylish and it is difficult to integrate IT equipment without breaking the harmony.

 To solve this dilemma, we offer a stylish desk in which a computer can be folded away. This way, when the computer is not in use, it is inside the cabinet and is not visible. On the other hand, when the user has use of it, a simple press of a push button automatically takes the computer equipment out of the office so that it is ready for use. When the user no longer needs his computer, a second action on the push button automatically enters the office to make it invisible.

 Principle of operation; - in the closed position, the desk offers a pleasant working comfort. It guarantees the security of the IT tool and the confidentiality of information.

- in the open position, the partially movable tray moves to the right by sliding, unmasking the computer which is in a housing located in place of the drawer on the right. The tray being cleared, the computer rises vertically until it is at the level of the desk the user can then use it. No electrical connection is to be made because the computer is permanently connected via the office to the sector, as well as to the company network if necessary - to retract the computer, the user actuates the switch again , - the computer retracts into the office - the right part of the desk top shifts to the left, thus resuming its position hiding the computer.

The desk with computer extraction system comprises a part of the upper tray of the desk moving horizontally on telescopic metal slides with full extension, by means of friction drive rollers or by controlled rack.

 The office includes an extractor whose displacement is vertical and uses levers mounted in scissors which allows a good distribution of the efforts; the extractor plate is horizontal and has a vertical path, controlled by gears of different diameters or by motorized jack.

 The office is made up of a set of 2 motors required, one for sliding the tray and one for extracting; they do not require electronic principles, they are of the 220 volt alternating type connectable on the network E D F with or without transformer. This also includes 4 limit switches, a push button or an electric lock.

1) Desk with computer extraction system characterized in that a part of the upper desk tray moves horizontally on telescopic metal slides with full extension, by means of friction drive rollers or by controlled rack. 2) Desk according to claim 1 characterized in that the extractor whose displacement is vertical uses levers mounted in scissors which allows a good distribution of forces, the plate of the extractor is horizontal and has a vertical path, controlled by gears of different diameters or by motorized jack. 3) Office according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in that for this set 2 motors are necessary, including one for the sliding of the plate and one for the extraction, they do not require electronic principles, they are of the 220 volt AC type connectable to the EDF network with or without transformer. This also includes 4 limit switches, a push button or an electric lock.
