Abstract

The packaging has a holder (1) with a compartment (10) to contain the prints (3) and a compartment to contain the negatives held on a reel. The packaging cover (2) has a window (20) for the compartment to contain the reel. The holder can slide inside a sleeve (5). The holder can be formed in two parts including a parallelepiped cardboard box into which a moulded plastics block is inserted. The height of the block can be less than that of the box.

Description

 The present invention relates to a packaging device for the packaging of photographic prints and negatives conditioned in a reel.

 Packaging devices for photographic prints are already known, most of them comprising a container part closed by a cover hinging on the edge of said container part.

 Most of these devices are made of molded plastic, and incorporate a reclosable compartment for storing negatives which traditionally come in the form of strips.

 However, there is also a development method which consists in preserving the initial shape of the negatives, namely in a single strip wound in its original reel, and the current age packaging devices do not allow the storage of said reel.

 The object of the present invention is to remedy this deficiency by proposing a packaging device making it possible to store photographic prints as well as negatives packaged in reels.

 The device according to the invention is essentially characterized in that it comprises a container part comprising a compartment intended to contain photographic prints and a compartment intended to contain negatives packaged in reels.

 According to an additional characteristic of the device according to the invention, a cover is articulated on one side of the container part, said cover comprising a window created opposite the compartment intended to contain the reel of negatives.

In a preferred manufacturing mode, the container part is produced by molding a plastic material.

 The advantages and characteristics of the present invention will emerge more clearly from the description which follows and which refers to the attached drawing, which represents several non-limiting embodiments.

 In FIG. 1, it can be seen that a packaging device according to the invention comprises a container part 1 on one side of which a cover part 2 is articulated.

 The container part 1 comprises a compartment 10 intended to contain photographic prints 3, and a compartment 11 intended to contain a reel 4 containing the negatives 40 corresponding to the prints 3.

 The cover 2 comprises a window 20 positioned opposite the compartment 11, and of dimensions smaller than those of the coil 4, so that when the cover 2 is closed on the container part 1, part of the coil 4 is engaged in the window 20 without being able to pass through, which makes it possible to reduce the total thickness of the packaging.

 Referring now to Figure 2 we can see that in a variant the container part 1, comprising the two compartments 10 and 11 intended to receive respectively the photographic prints and the film of negatives, not shown, is slid into a sheath 5.

 The container part 1 is preferably made in two parts, a parallelepipedic box 12 of cardboard into which is introduced a block 13 of molded plastic.

 We can see that the block 13 is of a height less than that of the box 12 so as to leave above, above the compartments 10 and 11, a location 14 allowing to accommodate a flat object with dimensions slightly smaller than that of the packaging, such as a mini-album or contact plates for recording the reprints to be made.

 The mini-album or the contact plates can be slipped into a pocket, not shown, comprising longitudinally, articulated by a fold, a tongue intended to be introduced between the block 13 and the box 12, by being glued to the latter, so the pouch can be moved while remaining integral with the container part 1.

 It goes without saying that the present invention cannot be limited to the foregoing description of some of its embodiments, capable of undergoing a certain number of modifications without departing from the scope of the invention.

Claims (6)

 1) Packaging device for packaging photographic prints and negatives conditioned in a reel, characterized in that it comprises a container part (1) comprising a compartment (10) intended to contain the photographic prints (3) and a compartment (11) intended to contain negatives conditioned in reel (4).  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the cover (2) has a window (20) created opposite the compartment (11) intended to contain the reel (4) of negatives.  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the container part (1) is slid into a sheath (5).  4) Device according to claim 3 characterized in that the container part (1) is made in two parts, a box (12) of parallelepipedic cardboard in which is introduced a block (13) of molded plastic.  5) Device according to claim 4 characterized in that the height of the block (13) is less than that of the box (12) so as to create a location (14) for accommodating a flat object.  6) Device according to claim 5 characterized in that it comprises a pocket accommodating in the location (14) and comprising longitudinally, articulated by a fold, a tongue inserted between the block (13) and the box (12) in being glued to the latter, so that said pouch is movable while remaining integral with the container part (1).
