Abstract

The gutter is flat and rectangular in shape. Its length, width and thickness can be varied. It has grooves running lengthwise which can be of various length, width and thickness. The upper surface (3) of the raised areas between the grooves is ribbed or textured to make it non-slip. The gutter is made of non-porous, impermeable material, either metal, mineral or synthetic material, according to where it will be used.

Description

WATER COLLECTION AND DRAINAGE CHANNEL FOR LOW PERMEABLE SOILS
The present invention relates to a soil gutter, making it possible to collect all or part of the runoff water on impermeable soils, and to drain them to existing or to be created flows.

It is intended to equip more or less inclined soils, where the presence of puddles of water stagnating at the low points of the irregularities of the reliefs, can be the cause of discomfort or more or less serious and important disorders.

This is the case in the floors of damp rooms, such as those of the food or chemical industries, or in places where strict hygienic conditions must be respected, where frequent washing is necessary, and in particular on the beaches of swimming pools and swimming, public or private.

Indeed, the various existing systems are not satisfactory, in particular because they cause difficulties in sanitizing, cleaning and maintenance, mainly by the fact that the covering grids retain the impurities brought by the runoff.

The present invention therefore aims to remedy these imperfections, and to do this, it initially comprises a flat and elongated shape (1), of variable width, length and thickness, adapted to the size of the surfaces to be fitted.

This profile has longitudinal grooves (2), more or less deep, intended to channel the flow of water towards the drainage outlets.

These grooves also make it possible to reduce and minimize the puddles remaining in the lowest areas, and even to eliminate them completely, when their depth makes it possible to incorporate a slope towards the flows.

These grooves being linear, are free of asperities or cavities which can allow blocking or incrustation on the walls.

Preferably, the upper elongate surfaces separating the grooves are ridged or surface granite (3), in order to make the object of the present invention sufficiently anaerobic for the use of the floors for which it is intended.

The constituent material of the present invention is impermeable, non-porous, of metallic, mineral or synthetic chemical composition, suitable for its destination.

It thus increases the flow of water, facilitates cleaning operations, and improves the hygiene of equipped floors. Drillings in the grooves, or machining, at the destination or in the workshop, allow the passage of the collected liquids to the underlying drainage networks.

The present invention, by its monolithism, therefore condlie the advantages of the water recovery gutters equipped with grids or gratings, while eliminating:
1) the disadvantages of stagnant soiling and removable grids
2) the disadvantages of depressions created at ground level, by gutters without grids.

This gutter, by its monolithic constitution, functions as a gutter and a grid at the same time.
