Abstract

The air purifier is placed in the body of the vehicle and processes internal air emitted from the vehicle interior. The purifier has a hermetically closed box (1) with a removable cover (7) to allow replacement of the filter plates. The air is circulated by a fan (4) driven by an electric motor. The circulating air is passed through filter plates (2), which can be replaced when they become blocked with pollutants. A negative ion emitter (5) is connected to the vehicle electrical system to ionise the air. There may be filtration units of different sizes fitted at different points in the vehicle body.
