Abstract

The silent key holder prevents the keys from knocking against each other and also reduces the wear of garment pockets. It comprises a pin-stop assembly (1), a truncated spring (2) and a fastening side plate (3). The assembly contains and holds the keys (4) pressed parallel against each other. The keys, which are pressed against each other, can be rotated through 360 deg . The spring holds the keys pressed together regardless of their number. The key holder prevents the keys form knocking against each other and producing noise and also reduces wear of garment pockets.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device for storing and carrying flat keys to allow a minimum of space and to be functional.

 The storage of flat keys is currently carried out by key rings with rings or simply by "broken rings", this device has the particularity on the one hand, of being noisy and on the other hand, of using, hole holes in pants or clothes in general and scratch the paint on the doors.

 The device according to the invention allows precise storage of a maximum number of keys, it also has the distinction of being silent and, being devoid of angular prominences, will no longer wear the pockets of the clothes and will no longer scratch the paint of the doors.

According to the particular embodiments;
- all current flat keys could possibly be adapted
- The keychain will generally consist of two flanges forming both the adornment and the frame on which can be added a fur for protection and easier transport of the keychain. It can be manufactured in all types of materials: metals, composite materials, plastics and or synthetics, precious materials, etc.

- the two flanges will be joined together directly (a male part and the other female) and will be maintained by a system called "bayonet" and by a frustoconical spring which will have two roles:
1) self-locking keys
2) blocking of the assembly
The fundamental principle of the silent keychain is the concentration of keys around an axis, (1,2,3 keys etc ... ...) between two flanges.

 The shape, arrangement or size of the keys, the method of attachment (drilling, special tail profiles, diameter and location of the axis, material used in the rotation system). The descriptive list above is not exhaustive.

 With reference to these drawings, the silent keychain comprises a female body (1), provided with a head with slide or groove (6) with spring type piano wire (7), with a slide type bayonet (9) , forming an axis and receiving the keys (4). A male body (2) provided with a head with slide and spring type piano wire (7), and a lug (8) holding the two bodies (1) and (2) by the bayonet slide (9). The assembled assembly will be maintained by the frustoconical spring (3) with double role.

The keychain can be finished with a sheath, case or fur (5) which will be mounted behind the scenes (6) held by the piano wire springs (7).

 The keychain according to the invention will be almost standard in its element (Figure 2). The sheath, case or fur according to the name it will be given will have all the dimensions, shapes, colors and will be made as for the keychain in all types of materials.

 The key ring according to the invention will be intended for current and daily use.

Claims (4)

 1) Silent key ring characterized in that a female body (1), provided with a head with slide or groove (6) with spring type piano wire (7), with a slide type bayonet (9), forming an axis and receiving the keys (4). A male body (2) provided with a head with slide and spring type piano wire (7), and a lug (8) holding the two bodies (1) and (2) by the bayonet slide (9). The assembly maintained by the tapered spring (3) with two roles.  2) Silent key ring according to claim 1 characterized in that the frustoconical spring (3) has dual roles, the self-locking of the keys (4) and the blocking of all the bodies (1) and (2) .  3) Silent key ring according to claim 2 characterized in that the frustoconical spring (3) retracts and is banded over a thickness equal to the diameter of the wire which composes it and that the widest bearing face holds the keys ( 4) plated and parallel.  5) Silent key ring according to claim 1 characterized in that the fur sheath or case (5) which, mounted on the head with slide or groove (6) blocked by a spring type piano wire (7) serves to lock the silent key ring, preventing the body (1) from rotating relative to the body (2) as long as the fur sheath or case (5) is not dissociated from the head (6) from the bodies (1) and (2) .
