Abstract

Food prod. for facilitating bowel movement in horses comprises: (i) flakes of flax (so-called capsules or balls) which provide abundant dry solids with bowel moving and invigorating properties; (ii) wheat bran as a source of phosphorus and nutrition; (iii) cane molasses which provide calcium, reinforce energy and act as a binder to facilitate granulation and stimulate appetite; and (iv) vitamins and minerals.
