Abstract

The system includes two cameras which are mounted side by side and spaced apart by a distance of 7 cm. The sensitivity of each camera in the spectral field is modified, either by the addition of a filter, or by control of colour amplification. The images gathered by the two cameras are directed towards a relay controlled by a pulse generator. This allows production of a train of images of duration 0.2 seconds, alternately from each camera. This produces a composite image giving a three dimensional effect. Colour selection can be based on selecting spectra with a bias either towards the ultraviolet end or infrared end of the spectrum.
