  A particularly effective variant of the present invention is obtained when the shelves, especially if they are made of glass, have grooves 7 along the edges on which the cornices are applied; the grooves being of shape, size and position such that they allow the housing and therefore the engagement to click against the protrusions, as

  shown in Figures 4, 5 and 6.

  In this way, the advantage is obtained that the insertion force of the cornices is not increased, while the disinsertion force is not greatly increased. Another advantage is obtained by the fact that such flute formations, in particular of the longitudinal and glass type, would be very economical since they would be carried out simultaneously with the deburring phase of the edges of the shelving. An advantage of such a construction is furthermore due to the fact that any cornice can be made L-shaped, as represented by the cornice

  In the cavities are inserted corresponding buttons 11, shown in two perpendicular views of Figures 7 and 8, which project slightly both by their head 12 that their side 13; they are made of non-slip material, preferably of rubber, and their use consists in constituting an obstacle to the sliding and also to the fall of the shelving from the supports of the cornices, under the effect of the friction produced by the parts 12,13 buttons 11 protruding from the cornice. Of course, the shelving can also be realized in different forms from those represented, without departing however from the spirit of protection of the

present invention.

  A refrigerator, in particular for domestic use, comprising a plurality of food preservation openings, said openings being subdivided into a plurality of horizontal racks supported laterally and / or at the rear, said racks being provided with cornices (1 ) of plastic material and being supported by said cornices, the latter being separated and applied on said shelves by inserting the respective edges (3) into corresponding cavities (2) formed in said cornices, characterized in that said cavities have a plurality internal projections (5) adapted to engage said edges. 2.
