Abstract

The strip is fixed to the bodywork (4) by the channel section (1) and the wiping surface (22) contacts the moveable glass (6). The strip is composite, with a stiffer section (1) gripping the edge of the body panel (4) at the surfaces (12,14,16). The softer section (2) carries the wiping/sealing surface, pressed against the glass by the spring (3). The trim strip (5) is gripped by the surface (25) and the lip (15). The lip (21) closes the channel (20) when the glass is in the closed position.
