Abstract

The invention relates to a viscous product dispenser. It comprises a substantially cylindrical rigid housing (2) inside which can be introduced an axially deformable and sealed refill (3) which contains the viscous product and which is able to deliver a dose of this product when it is compressed, the housing (2) being provided with two longitudinal and opposite slots (7) in which a bar (8) is intended to engage transversely with the housing (2), a non-return mechanism being provided at each end of the bar ( 8) and on the edges of each slot (7) to allow movement of said bar (8) only in the direction of compression of the refill (3).

Description

The present invention relates to a product dispenser

  viscous, especially for making hair preparations.

  The products used in the composition of hair preparations, such as colorations, are subject to special precautions for use. On the one hand, they must be conditioned away from the air for

  retain their chemical properties.

  On the other hand, when carrying out a preparation, they

  must be made in small doses precisely.

  Therefore, these products are usually packaged in small amounts, corresponding to the doses used to make a single

  The present invention aims at providing a viscous product dispenser which makes it possible at the same time to keep the product protected from the air in a container of large capacity and to take from it precisely low

  doses without altering the product that remains in the container.

  The dispenser according to the invention is also simple and economical. The present invention relates to a viscous product dispenser which is characterized in that it comprises a substantially cylindrical rigid housing inside which can be introduced an axially deformable and sealed refill which contains the viscous product and which is suitable for deliver a dose of this product when it is compressed, the housing being provided with two longitudinal and opposite slots in which a bar is intended to engage transversely to the housing, a non-return mechanism being provided at each end of the bar and on the edges of each slot to allow movement

  of said bar in the sense of a compression of the refill.

  According to the invention, the term "substantially cylindrical housing" refers to a housing having, perpendicular to a longitudinal axis, a

  substantially constant section, which can be for example circular.

  It will be understood that the dispenser according to the invention makes it possible to keep the product safe from the air for the duration of use of the refill and to deliver a dose of this product by compressing the

recharge without introducing air.

  Advantageously, the casing according to the invention comprises, on its external lateral wall and in the vicinity of one of the slots, a graduation which makes it possible to measure the quantity of product that is expelled from the refill.

  The distributor 1 shown in FIG. 1 comprises a substantially cylindrical rigid housing 2 having a circular base which encloses

  internally a waterproof and deformable refill 3.

  Refill 3 is in the form of a bellows cylinder.

  The housing 2 is closed at its upper end 2a and open to

  its lower end 2b o it has an external thread 4.

  A bar 8 extends transversely to the housing 2 through the two slots 7. The bar 8 has a central portion 8a for compressing the refill 3 and two end portions 8b for

slide between slots 7.

  According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a pawl 9, visible in Figure 3, is provided on each end portion 8b of the bar 8 to cooperate with racks 10

  made on the edges of each slot 7.

  Thus, the bar 8 can move only in the direction of the lower end 2b of the housing 2, that is to say in the direction of a

compression of the refill 3.

  Thanks to this anti-return mechanism, the refill 3 keeps, after each delivery of a dose of product, a volume corresponding to the quantity of product it contains, which prevents any introduction

of air in said refill 3.

  To ensure its transverse retention, the bar 8 comprises two curved disks 11, distant a length slightly greater than the

case diameter 2.

  The dispenser is used as follows.

  To set up a new refill 3 inside the casing 2, the bar 8 is positioned in the up position, that is to say at the

  first notch of each rack 10.

  For this purpose, the bar 8 is engaged through the recesses 12 provided for this purpose at the upper end of each slot 7, these recesses 12 having dimensions slightly greater than those of

curved discs 11.

  The refill 3 is then introduced into the casing 2, by its

  bottom end 2b which is open.

  The cap 5 of the refill is then screwed onto the thread 4 of the

housing 2.

  Finally move the bar 8 until it comes to bear against the upper end of the refill 3. The distributor is

ready to use.

  When the refill 3 is empty, it is extracted from the case 2 by

unscrewing the cap 5.

  The bar 8 is also extracted from the housing 2 by the recesses 16 provided at the lower end of each slot 7 to be put back in place at the upper part of the housing 2 through the

recesses 12.

  It is understood that the embodiment which has just been described is not limiting in nature and can receive any

  desirable modification without departing from the scope of the invention.

  1. Viscous product dispenser characterized in that it comprises a substantially cylindrical rigid housing (2) inside which can be introduced a refill (3) axially deformable and sealed which contains the viscous product and which is capable of delivering a dose of this product when compressed, the housing (2) being provided with two slots (7) longitudinal and opposite in which a bar (8) is intended to engage transversely to the housing (2), a mechanism anti-return device (9,10) being provided at each end of the bar (8) and at the edges of each slot (7) to allow movement of said   bar (8) only in the direction of a compression of the refill (3).   2. Dispenser according to claim 1, characterized in that the housing (2) comprises, on its outer side wall and in the vicinity of one of the slots (7), a graduation (15) which allows to measure the amount of product that is expelled from the refill (3) with each move of the bar (8).   3. Dispenser according to any one of claims 1 and 2,   characterized in that the refill (3) is in the form of a bellows cylinder.   4. Dispenser according to any one of claims 1 to 3,   characterized in that the non-return mechanism provided at each end of the bar (8) and at the edges of each slot (7) is constituted by a pawl (9) on the bar (8) and by a rack (10). ) on each slot (7).   5. Dispenser according to any one of claims 1 to 4,   characterized in that the housing (2) has recesses (12, 16) at the ends of each slot (7), these recesses (12, 16) having dimensions slightly greater than those of the bar (8), so to allow the introduction and extraction of the latter in the housing (2).
