Abstract

The cassette recorder allows selective simultaneous recording of four tracks on a side. Three tracks can be pre-recorded, and the fourth track can be recorded while the other tracks are playing. Recordings of songs store the stereo music backing on two tracks and the vocalist on the third track, leaving the fourth track free for the user. Similarly a part can be separated and put on the third track. In replay, the isolated part or the user recording can be selected together with the first two tracks. The recorder has a control panel to allow selection of these functions, and can use its own audio reproduction or can be coupled to a conventional audio system.

vment the four tracks of the cassettes.

New tapes of songs are released, with the
stereo sound background on the first two tracks and the singer
on the third. These cassettes allow to replace
to the singer by recording on the fourth track while

on a normal cassette.

CLAIMS.  1- The Cassette Tape Recorder with a new method of using tracks, characterized in that it reads and records, simultaneously and selectively the four tracks on one side. He uses pre-recorded cassettes edited for his use and knows a simplified and miniaturized version of the player genre.  2- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that during the reading of the first three tracks it allows to record on the fourth.  3- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that cassettes of songs, specially edited, carry on the first two tracks the stereo musical background and the voice of the singer on the third. The fourth track is free. Other editions, from the most diverse fields such as orchestras, operas, choirs, plays, studies of foreign languages etc. also offer the possibility of replacing the one isolated on the third track.  4- Device according to one of the preceding claims characterized in that this tape recorder fits into all HI-FI channels and takes advantage of the existing possibilities. It has a built-in microphone and speaker, headphone outputs and a second microphone, a simplified mixing desk and twelve programming keys with green indicator lights for Play, red for Record and white for Transcription. Then come the concerned tracks 1,2,3,4,12,123,124 then the "start" key which triggers the start of all the programmed functions.  5- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that a simplified version of the genre "player" offers practically your same characteristics.
