Abstract

The system includes a supply (E) provided by a battery (B) and an alternator (A) connected in parallel. They supply power to a card reader (L) into which a card (C) is inserted, and to the other electrical circuits of the vehicle. The circuit is simplified to three branches (B1,B2,B3), the first of which (B1) includes the ignition and starter circuits. The second branch includes an alarm, and the third branch includes instruments on the vehicle dashboard. When a card is inserted and read, a signal is sent to all three circuits. If the card is valid the user may start the vehicle. If the card is invalid, different signals are produced and the alarm is activated.
