A disposable slipper, providing prophylactic protection, consists of a sole, consisting of a white foam (1) inserted between two polymer layers (2,3), and a polymeric upper (4), the novelty being that the layers (2,3) and the upper (4) are made of nonwoven thermobonded polyester and the foam layer (1) is max. 2 mm. thick. Also claimed are a process and a machine for mfg. the slipper.
