Abstract

Device for automatically rolling back the tarpaulins on ensilage silos. The invention relates to the framework of a device making it possible to cover the cutting face of the silo without equipment other than the tarpaulin covering it. The latter is then rolled back automatically when the animals push against the barrier. It consists of an adjustable bar (2), of a ridge bar (ridge pole) (3) both of which bars support the tarpaulin (1). The winder (4) placed to the rear keeps taut and rolls up the tarpaulin or tarpaulins as the counterweight falls. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to protect fodder from inclement weather and eliminates a tiresome task, especially during the winter.
