Abstract

Transverse leaf spring suspension for a motor vehicle front axle assembly in which suspension the said leaf has a longitudinal axis of symmetry (14) and on the one hand at each of its ends bears a fastener (6) to which the lower end of a stub axle holder (7) is attached and, on the other hand, anchoring points (2, 2', 3, 3') for members for joining the leaf to an element of the chassis (8) of the vehicle, characterised in that the said leaf consists of two partially superimposed elements (1a, 1b) joined together via at least one elastic link (12, 13, 13').
