Le dispositif comprend, pour éviter une consommation inutile du filtre pendant les périodes non polluées, un fonctionnement libre: aspiration-refoulement, avec clapet de fermeture à commande manuelle et ou électronique qui permet la mise en fonction ou l'arrêt de la filtration.
