Abstract

The table consists of four legs, joined in two pairs by cross-braces (2,3) and a stretcher (4), with a plastic top (1) which has a continuous semi-cylindrical groove (5) round its edge, leading to an outlet channel (7) in one of the shorter sides. The legs braces and stretcher can be made, for example, from stainless steel, with at least one of the braces, situated at the outlet channel end, made curved in shape to allow a container (10) to be placed beneath the outlet channel to collect the liquids draining from the table top. A shallow groove (9) in the underside of the table top round the outlet channel concentrates the fall of the draining liquids. The table top can be made from a plastic in the group comprising polyethylene and polypropylene.
