Abstract

Igniter consists of a container of paper or cardboard, filled with charcoal, wood or other material and a match in its base with a movable striker (5), the whole being made without chemicals. The container can be equipped with a deflector panel to ensure even combustion, and the striker has a substantial neutral zone to prevent any accidental ignition. USE/ADVANTAGE - Lighting barbecues, fire or furnaces. Simple to operate, requiring single action to produce ignition.

The subject of the present invention is a paper or cardboard container filled with charcoal, or wood, or branches, or the like, enclosing in its inner base an ignition and ignition device. This container is particularly suitable for lighting and rapid heating of barbecues, fireplaces, stoves, ovens.

 The firing of the container is carried out by actuating a pull tab arranged for this purpose and locked outside of said container.

 The built-in or removable igniter consists of a frame and wooden plates 3 to 5 mm thick. In the underlying part of the frame, two matches are arranged in a fixed position; the matches are enclosed by a movable wiper extending by a pull cord. Air intakes for primary combustion are provided at the base of the four sides of the frame.

 The igniter frame is provided in its upper part with a deflector. The purpose of this deflector is to propagate the start of the fire to the right and to the left of the fuel container, this in order to obtain a uniform brazier.

 The igniter is placed at the internal base of the fuel container. The scrubber is permanently secure for transport and handling. In addition, the firing pull cord is stored under a tab glued to the outside of the container.

 The incorporated igniter device can be used removably with containers designed for this purpose, offering at their base an orifice having the geometric shape of the igniter frame, into which the latter is inserted.

 The accompanying drawings, given by way of example only, show an embodiment of this igniter with its internal safety device.

 Figure 1 is an overview of the ignition system with the deflector (1) in its upper part, the inserted pads (2), the support frame (3), the air intakes (4), the scrubber fitted with pull cord (5).

 Figure 2 shows the igniter frame seen from the side.

 Figure 3 shows the position of the matches (6), and the safety device of the movable wiper (S) of which only the rear part is active for firing.

 As just defined, the principle of igniter incorporated or added to a fuel container is not exhaustive.

 Containers made of clean paper or cardboard, without nuisance, can be of different shapes and capacities, they self-destruct by fire. The warm-up time of the devices mentioned at the start is limited at best, unnecessary and sometimes messy handling is eliminated; a single gesture is enough to quickly obtain the desired brazier.

 Simple to manufacture, from noble materials such as wood and its derivatives, the fuel container device with its incorporated igniter as defined here, is distinguished from existing products by the fact that it does not contain any chemical .

 It is understood that the scope of the invention is not limited to the example given, any variant considered to be equivalence cannot modify its scope.
