Abstract

The air-diffusing panel has a series of openings (1) which are truncated on the upper surface of the panel. Each opening forms convex line around the depth of the panel, ensuring the escape of air on the whole of the wall opening and a uniform diffusion leaving the ceiling assembly. In making the opening a glazing is formed around the external wall, providing a greater finished resistance. USE - Adequate air circulation in animal buildings.

Description

The present invention relates to means for ensuring adequate circulation of air in buildings and in particular in livestock buildings or the like.

The diffusion of air in livestock buildings is traditionally carried out by cylindrical holes in panels placed horizontally at a certain distance above the livestock. However, these cylindrical holes cause significant aeration rates at the level of the animals themselves (harmful ambient air which can cause stress, diseases, growth retardation, etc. for the animals).

The means according to the present invention allow these drawbacks to be remedied considerably and ensure a particularly satisfactory air circulation. These means consist in creating in insulating panels placed above the animals and forming a ceiling, a series of openings which meet the following characteristic:
- a frustoconical perforation on the upper face of the panel.

- This perforation forming a convex line over the entire thickness of the panel, ensuring a burst of air over the entire wall of this perforation and a distribution uniformly distributed over the entire ceiling.

Figure 1 is a sectional view of this perforation.

It demonstrates that the convex line is delimited over the entire thickness of the panel. The air entering the ceiling follows this line without discontinuity, bursts perfectly and diffuses horizontally over the entire ceiling for a regular mixing and renewal of the air in vacuum in the room.

Contrary to the product of patent N "89 14470, where the perforation prolonged by a concave flaring forming an inverted bowl, we demonstrate - = be that the diffused air following - the concave walls, fall vertically from the ceiling on the animals.

FIG. 2 represents a part of the panel comprising several perforations; these perforations varying according to well-defined characteristics of the room.

The interior surface of the hole can remain in the natural state of the product without any treatment, but only by a particular embodiment can be proceeded on all - the wall of this perforation - has a g-lacing which ensures a higher resistance and a better finish
