Abstract

The unit consists of a pole (U) at the end of which is mounted a flat piece (Y,Y') containing pegs (G or Dy') that engage with a split spring collar (B) that can be clipped onto or removed from a mast according to the way the pole is operated. Description

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device for attaching support flanges for flags or posters that hang, on vertical or horizontal posts or pipes.

 It is usually used to support flags or posters in the form of a gallows or square which are fixed to the posts or pipes using clamps, strings, wire or others.

 This manual process requires the use of a ladder or mechanical elevator for hanging out of reach of a man on the ground and also various tools and materials.

The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks and the accompanying drawings illustrate the invention:
Drawing 1 shows an overview of the device according to the invention.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a tube pole U (drawings 1 and 7) on which is mounted a hook S (drawings 1 and 6 which serves as a tilting point when this hook surrounds a post (P) and that l 'there is a tension opposite to this pole at the lower end of the pole, so that the upper part of this pole presses on the pole.

 On this pole U is also mounted a foot T also serving as a tilting point (drawings 1 and 5) when this foot T is supported on a post (P) and that lton exerts pressure towards this post at the low end of the pole U, so that the upper part of this pole moves away from the post.

 Based on these two principles explained above, this device is extended at the upper end of its pole U, by a piece Y (drawing 4) or a piece Y '(drawing 11), depending on the use of open flanges B ( drawing 3), of manufacture specially designed for the device according to the invention, or of Lyre type collars (registered trademark Nicoll).

 The part Y (or Y ') is fitted using its tube CY (drawing 4) on the tube (ZI A (drawing 7) of the pole U and is provided with two studs G (drawing 4) or 4 studs DYt (drawing 11) which are used to keep the flanges open in position thanks to their holes BB (drawing 3) or the Lyre collars by sliding their soles between the 4 studs DY 'while orienting a branch in the stirrup SY' (drawing 11) , the two springs V (drawing 11) preventing the collars from moving.

 Depending on whether you want to snap the open flange B or the Lyre collar onto a post P, you must orient the part Y or Y 'relative to the hook S (drawing 1) using the holes MY and MY' (drawings 4 and 11) corresponding to the holes H (drawing 7) of the part U. The clip pin (drawing 1) passed through these holes, used to fix the desired position.

 Depending on whether you want to remove the open flange or the Lyre collar from a post, you must orient the part Y or Y 'relative to the foot T (drawing 1) using the holes MY' (drawings 4 and 11 ) corresponding to the holes H (drawing 7) of part U.  With reference to drawing 1, when the open flange or the Lyre collar B is in place on the part Y or Y ', and the part S surrounding the post P, it suffices to draw the bottom of the pole U in opposition to the post to cause pressure on the open flange or Lyre collar towards the post and snap one or the other. It is then enough to let the device slide down to release the studs G (piece Y drawing 4) or to slide the 4 studs DY '(piece Y' drawing 11) laterally from the sole of the Lyre collars, to leave the flanges or necklaces in place on the pole.

Referring to drawing 1, to extract an open flange or a collar
Lyre B in place on a post P, when it is an open flange, just grab the bottom of the pole (piece U), slide the pieces T and Y against the post until the studs G ( part Y drawing 4) enter the holes BB (open flange, drawing 3); when it is a Lyre necklace, just slide the 4 studs DY '(piece Y' drawing 11) using the pole U, around the sole. When one or the other of these operations is carried out, a pressure applied at the bottom of the pole U towards the post causes a draw opposite to the post of the piece Y or Y ', thanks to the piece T which serves as point tilting (like the part S), and thus, the extraction of the flange or the collar is obtained.

 The open clamps or Lyre collars used for the device according to the invention are pierced with a hole CB (drawing 3) allowing the mounting of a rod (part I or I 'drawing 9) receiving a flag D or a poster. A rubber washer 0 fixed on the rod I or I 'prevents the flag or the poster D from sliding (drawing 1).

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended for fixing or removing flanges on posts or pipes, from the ground, out of reach of a man's arm, without the use of lifting means or fixing materials .

According to other characteristics:
The part Y can pivot 360 at the end of the pole U to position its studs G at an angle B (plate 8/11) relative to the position of the part S or T.

 The part T has its curved outer part so as not to slip on the posts and is of a certain length in its right part which allows to sufficiently distance the top of the pole relative to the post so as to be able to extract the flanges when press the bottom of the pole towards the post, this part serving as the tilting point of the U pole.

 The part S is placed at 90 relative to the part T and the rounding is clockwise, its shape is intended to surround poles of different diameters and its positioning relative to the part Y allows always pull the pole in line with the pole to snap the flanges, this part serving as a tilting point for the pole U.

 The part Y (plate 4/11) can be transformed into part Y '(plate 11/11) to be able to receive the Lyre collars using 4 DYl studs (plate 11/11) between which slide the sole of these collars maintained by spring leaves V, the notch SY 'used for positioning a branch of the Lyre collars.
