Abstract

The notice-board consists of an inner core (2) made from a shaped layer of a synthetic material, surrounded by a moulded and reinforcing frame (3), a rear panel (4) which covers the back of the frame and the core, and a front panel (11) which fits over the front of the core and into a frame recess (9). The frame moulding can be continuous or it can be open at the ends and covered by a detachable bar with projections which fit inside the ends of the frame. The front and rear panels of the notice-board can be attached to the frame by adhesive, or one panel, e.g. the front one, can be detachable. The core of the notice-board can be shaped to form an inner compartment which contains a light source, and one of the panels can be translucent.
