Abstract

System for preventing books from sagging. The invention relates to a system which prevents books from sagging at the corners and along the spine. It consists of: four corners with cover pieces; adhesive tabs with notches; and two curved pieces, each formed by a stop. One of these curved pieces is solid and the other hollow. The system according to the invention is designed to prevent school books and cartoons from sagging.

Description

 The present invention relates to an embodiment for preventing sagging of the corners and the back of books.

 Until now, we have used notebook protectors which in the long run do not prevent sagging of books.

 The embodiment according to the invention comprises four corners with adhesive tabs, as well as two sticks of different models.

 As for the four corners with adhesive tabs, they can be folded down on the end of the inside cover of the book. These tabs have a recess. This offset serves, when the book is closed, for the pages to take their place. As for the corner, outside, it includes a small cover to hold the end of the book cover.

 The realization also includes two different models.

These sticks are placed between the back of the pages of the book and the cover of the latter, while keeping it half-open with each pose. The stem of the sticks of the school books is made of a single piece, unlike that of the comics which it has a groove to receive the back of the sheets of the books. Near the top of each rod is a small retainer. This realization ends in the shape of a stick.

 The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention.

 Figure- 1 shows the stock of the comics on each side.

 Figure 2 shows the stock of school books on each side as well as in section.

 Figure 3 shows in section the corners of the book.

 Figure 4 shows the corner of the book seen from the outside, as well as inside.

 Figure 5 shows the book.

 With reference to these drawings, the first embodiment comprises two corners (1) of the book (5). To place the corner (1), put the cover (2) of the book (5) in the small cover (3) and at the back of this corner 1), at the touch of a finger, we attach the adhesive tabs ( 4) on the inside of the cover (2) of the book (5). So that, when the book (5) is closed, the pages (6) are found in place in the recess (7) of the corner (1).

 For the second embodiment, we open the book (5), we position the stock (8) vertical to the back of the book (5) to penetrate the stock (8) between the inside of the cover (2) and the back of the sheets (6) of the book- (5). With a simple press of the finger, the stick (8) descends, is crimped against the cover (2) of the outer book (5). Once the retainer (9) touches the top of the sheets (6), the stick (8) can no longer descend. For the positioning of the production (10) of comic books, the principle is the same.

 These achievements will be made of plastic in a single injection molding operation and different colors depending on each book.

 The embodiment according to the invention is particularly intended for the protection of school books and comics.

 The first realization (1) will have dimensions of the order of 2.5 cm on a side, 5 mm in thickness and 2.5 cm in height approximately.

 The second embodiment (8) will have dimensions of 5 cm in height, 9 mm in width, 2 mm in thickness and the stock 1 cm in height, the retainer will be 5 mm in length.

 The embodiment (10) will have dimensions of 5 cm in height, the stick will be I cm, the width will be 8 mm, the retainer will be 5 mm and, the middle of the rod, the groove will be 4 mm.

 Claims  Implementation to prevent sagging of books comprising four corners (1) representing a covering (3) and two adhesive tabs (4) and a recess (7). As well as a full stick (8) formed of a retainer (9) for school books. A second stick (10) also formed by a stopper (9) and hollow in the middle for the comics.
