Abstract

Measuring device necessary for scribing metals. The invention relates to a measuring device making it possible to scribe metals accurately and quickly. It is made up of a male component (Fig. 1 & 3) and of a female component (Fig. 2 & 4) including a groove (3 Fig 2 & 4). It is sufficient for the user to position this scriber at the desired measurement; then to bring it to bear against the ironwork; next, the person using it equips himself with a sharp point in order to make a mark. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for scribing metal for sheet metal work shops.
