Abstract

The invention relates to a single-use device for taking blood, making it possible to take blood from humans and animals without the risk of contamination by pricking of the user and personnel. It consists of two cylinders (1) and (2) sliding in one another, allowing the sampling needle (11) to describe a straight-line translational movement before and after use inside the upper cylinder (1). A locking system (6) makes the device unusable after use. The device containing the sampling tube (3) makes it possible to dispatch the assembly to the analysis laboratory, thus ensuring packaging and protection of the sample. It also allows better monitoring of the destruction of needles. The device according to the invention is made in three plastic pieces as well as the needle (11) and is intended for medical use.
