Abstract

The invention relates to a device having the form of a hopscotch game enabling children to play while creating their own music. This hopscotch game, which has, as support, a sheet of plywood 10 mm thick, 3.50 metres by 1.50 metres, is cut to shape according to Figure 1. 16 contact mats are distributed over the squares and make it possible to send pulses to an organ or to a synthesizer via a multi-pin plug socket (3) and a multiwire cable (4). The assembly is covered with a black rubber ground covering, on which the name of the notes (1) or the functions represented by the squares (2) are written in white. The squares are delimited by white squares. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for teaching music in schools.

Description

MUSICAL Hopscotch
The present invention relates to a device allowing especially children, and any other person, to awaken their musical sense and their ear while playing hopscotch.

 Musical floors have already been designed, but here it is a question of combining the game with the name of the notes and their sound. The device is in the form of a hopscotch of 3.50 meters long by 1.50 meters wide and 16 mm.

 Each box corresponds to a note or a tone, or to a rhythm.

The player can thus create his own melody by jumping from box to box.

 The keyboard of this organ is derived; the information is conducted by a multi-conductor cabal connected to the hopscotch by a multi-pin socket.

The contact for each note is created by a "contact mat" type "alarm".

The wiring of each carpet passes through a groove made in the support.

The support is 10 mm plywood. thickness. The covering is a black rubber floor mat.

 The accompanying drawing illustrates the invention. Figure 1 shows, viewed from above, the aesthetics of the invention.

With reference to this drawing, the device has the shape of a hopscotch (Figure 1).

On each box is written in white the name of the note (1) or the function it represents (2). The player's weight acts on a contact mat located under each box; the very low voltage electrical pulse is transmitted to a small organ by a multi-pin plug (3) and a multi-conductor cable (4).

 Depending on the embodiments - the organ or the synthesizer used -, the wiring will be different. This is an aesthetic adaptation combining several already existing techniques.

 The present invention is particularly intended for music education in schools.

 1) Musical device in the shape of a hopscotch (Figure 1) characterized in that it is connected to an organ or a synthesizer by a multiconductor cable (1) and a multi-pin plug (3)  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the hopscotch (Figure 1) is divided into 16 boxes consisting of contact mats connected to the multi-pin socket (3)  3) Device according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in @e that the user chooses the notes (1) or the functions (2) and, by its own weight, acts on the contact mats thus letting the information flow to the organ or synthesizer.
