Abstract

The present invention relates to a crampon for a sports shoe, for example a golf shoe. Said crampon is provided with a base 1 under which is produced a threaded rod 2 for fixing in a threaded hole in the sole of the boot. According to the invention, on said base are produced and distributed several spikes 3 in the form of a polyhedron separated by one or more spaces 4. Application to all sports shoes and in particular but not limited to golf.

Description

The present invention relates to a crampon for

sports shoe.

  The crampon according to the invention is of the type consisting of a base in which is made a threaded rod fixing in a threaded hole of the sole of the shoe. The present invention is not limited to spikes fastened by threaded rod but also applies to crampons with any other means of fixing or crimping

  or caught in the mass of the sole.

  Such known crampons generally include

  the base is a flat or tapered end.

  Such crampons are described in the patent application FR 85 15471 which discloses a sports shoe to

studs.

  In this application the crampons have studs or tips having a slightly conical shape to penetrate

in the ground.

  To give the shoe and the user a good grip on the ground, these studs or points spaced on the surface of the sole necessarily have a certain length. One of the aims of the invention is to allow a

good sitting on dry ground.

  With the crampons known at present and in particular those described in the patent FR 85 15471 on dry ground, the penetration of the crampons in the ground does not take place, because of this, the user is in an unstable position whatever

the movement or effort made.

  According to the invention, from the same shoe, the user can put in place the new crampons which allow to obtain a better adhesion, a better support, a greater stability, the user being closer to the ground. In addition, according to the invention, the walking comfort is greatly improved since the bearing surface is distributed over four (or more) points of contact with the ground and this, on

  a surface itself more extended.

  The object of the invention is to obviate the above drawbacks by providing a spike for a sports shoe which has a low height above the base

  screwed, a large area of contact with the ground.

  Another object of the invention is to achieve a crim-

  whose penetration into the soil is facilitated and that

  the blocking of the ground on the sole plate

  both the division of a potential mound.

  For this purpose, the spike for sports shoe according to the invention of the type with a base with means of

  attachment to the sole of the shoe is characterized

  in that on said base are made and distributed several polyhedron-shaped pins separated by

  one or more intervals or spacings.

  According to the invention, the pins may be in the form of regular or irregular polyhedra, for example pyramidal

or tetrahedral.

  According to a preferred embodiment, the

  As represented in FIG. 1, the crampon according to the invention consists of a base 1 provided with means of

  fastening to the sole of the shoe.

  Preferably the base 1 is circular in shape and

  in the example of Figure 1 and 2 is planar.

  The attachment means to the sole of the shoe consist of a rod 2 under the base and at its center with a thread which cooperates with a corresponding orifice

threaded shoe.

  It goes without saying that all other means of attachment to the sole of the shoe can be adapted without departing from the scope of the invention; this is how the base can be crimped or taken in the mass of the sole

  or be molded together therewith.

  On the base 1 are arranged and distributed pins 3. According to the invention the base 1 is provided with at least two pins 3 preferably, arranged on the same median axis

transverse to the diameter.

  The pins are spaced from each other or from each other and are separated by one or more intervals

or spacings 4.

  According to the invention, the pins 3 have the shape of a

  polyhedron having a solid point or angle and
