Abstract
Description
Le reste de l'écran reste vierge ou réservé à d'autres informations .This process aims at obtaining an image in relief by looking at two paired images, stereo and placed side by side by means of a pair of glasses provided with two conical conduits (Many methods of television or cinema in relief have been tested and working but the image quality is insufficient, apart from the holographic process which is good, but too greedy in bandwidth for wireless transmission; this is the reason for my present approach)
The shooting is ensured by a double stereo camera
For television, a synthesis of the video signal is made so that the first halves of each line represent the image on the right and the seconds, the image on the left. These two views are separated by a thin vertical zone without signal. This stereo video signal is thus sent to the transmitter. The television therefore receives on its screen two parallel left and right views in a square format and the largest possible. The rest of the screen remains blank or reserved for other information.
For cinema, the film is impressed by the two twin views side by side. The view on the left represents the image of the camera on the right and the view on the right that of the camera on the left
The perception of the relief is obtained by viewing the screen via a pair of conical conduits (1), fixed on a frame like a pair of glasses. The small end of the cone (3) ends with a square section end piece (4). The cones are adjusted on the frame so that if the right eye aims at the left image, the left eye will automatically capture the right image
The cones are made in the manner of a camera bellows, made up of superimposed and telescopic rings so that the pair of glasses can be easily stored in a space-saving case (see drawing)
The interior of the cones will be matte, anti-reflective. The pair of glasses is equipped with an optical system allowing the enlargement of the image. One lens is attached to the frame (5) and the other, between the end of the small cone (3) and the square tip (4)
The impression of the relief is then possible and without apparent fatigue for the organs of vision, except during too prolonged vision
