Abstract

Apparatus for putting in fencing posts enabling a post, of different profiles, L-shaped, T-shaped, square-shaped, tube-shaped, rectangular, etc., to be maintained perfectly plumb in the two directions while it is being embedded. It consists of a support 11 to which are attached symmetrical rapid locking systems for putting in L-shaped posts at the two ends of a wall or of each side of a pillar. The support 11 is held vertically by a framework 12 to which are attached two levels 10 mounted on springs for precise adjustment during the manufacture of the tooling and of three locking screws 6. This upper part of the tooling is coupled to a tripod which includes a framework 1, a support 3 enabling the upper and lower part of the tooling to be coupled in two different positions on one side for the end posts and on the other side for the intermediate posts. A fixed foot and two adjustable feet are provided for putting in a post on a wall of different thickness or into the solid ground. These feet are each equipped with a jack 4; by acting on these jacks and with the aid of the inspection levels 10, a verticality of a post in the two directions is precisely adjusted. In the case of putting in posts directly into the ground, the maximum footing (base) of the tooling is used. Three plates 15 are provided so as to prevent the jacks from being pushed into the ground. The alignment of the posts is ensured by a line. On a wall, the height of the post is adjusted with respect to the horizontal level by having made a reference mark on the post beforehand. This apparatus is entirely made from steel. This device according to the invention is particularly intended for putting in posts of all types, into masonry or into green-field areas (gardens, parks).

Description

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for installing fence posts.

 The laying of these stakes is traditionally carried out under difficult conditions with regard to plumbing, alignment, as well as holding in place, during the sealing operation two or more people are necessary. These various operations are carried out using a cord, by caiage or quite simply by holding the stake in the hand while waiting for the fast cement to set. These different methods give results which are not satisfactory and lead to significant loss of time.

 The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks and requires a person, whether on a concrete block, stone wall, thickness or variable inclination to the right or left of a pillar, at the ends of a wall, in a corner as well as the intermediate stakes, is directly on the ground.

 This device is capable of placing stakes of different profiles or height, round or T, L, square or rectangular.

 The present device is represented in five plates.

This device is made up of four parts
- A tripod including a square iron frame 1,
- A fixed rear foot, two feet 2 adjustable in spacing to allow adaptation ltoutii according to the thickness of the wall, these two feet 2 are also adjustable in length depending on the configuration of the use of the device.

 For example, to change the maximum wheelbase so as to avoid tilting the device when installing the end posts. The maximum wheelbase setting can be used for laying ground stakes.

 A clamping lever 5 used to block the two adjustable feet.

 Three adjustment cylinders 4 to obtain the vertical balance of the stake controlled by the two levels 10.

 A support 3 allowing the upper part to be reversible, for the use of the device in different configurations of poses, end or intermediate stakes.

 A stop 14 to obtain a frank contact during the coupling of the lower and upper part of the tool.

 Three locking screws 6 used to immobilize the upper part of the tool with the lower part.

 Plate 2 represents the symmetrical quick locking system, for the installation of L-shaped stakes at the two ends of a wall, on each side of a pillar.

He understands
- A tip 8 adjustable according to the profile of the stake seen according to F,

 The stakes are aligned with a cord. The height of the stakes is ensured by making a route on the stake and adjusting it relative to the leveling of the wall.

 This device is entirely made of steel.

 This device according to the invention is particularly intended for the installation of stakes of all kinds, in masonry or in green spaces.

 There is a patent 2,565,617 - relating to a device for placing the fence posts.

 This device makes it possible to adjust the plumb of the stake only in one direction, its implementation is slower.

 It is not equipped with a level device allowing immediate control of the vertical position of the stake.

Claims (1)

CLAIMS Apparatus for placing fence posts, allowing a stake to be kept in a good position when it is wired. Characterized in that it comprises, by a support 11 on which are fixed two symmetrical rapid locking systems for the installation of stakes the L at the two ends of a wall or on each side of a pillar. The support 11 being held vertically by a frame 12, this upper part of the tool is coupled to a tripod 1 comprising a fixed foot and two adjustable feet 2 for placing a stake on a wall or in the ground.
