Abstract

The invention relates to a device which makes it possible to avoid the angular loss of the exploratory field by increasing the number of photoelectric X-ray cells which constitute the head of a densitometer. This device consists of 27 reference cells divided into 3 compartments of 9 cells, and 434 measurement cells divided into 62 compartments of 7 cells. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for the exploration of the cervical and intestinal zones of the organism.

Description

The present invention consists of a hemispherical device comprising x-ray photoelectric reference and measurement cells aimed at perfecting the field of exploration of medical imaging produced by the head of a CT scanner better known under the name of Scanner. .

It is the (11 11264 RHUMB, the thirty second part of the Rose des
Winds which is currently used as a model for digital division as cells.

This results in the following distribution:
Knowledge: 11-ELLULES of equivalent reference ~ to the number of degrees
included in a rhumb.

- 1024 MEASURING CELLS, corresponding to the square of these memes
thirty two parts.

The disadvantage of this system is that the number
degrees and minutes are not equal in a Rhumb.

Figure img00010001
Indeed, to have an optimal distribution of cells it
The c3culs must be based not on the Rhumb but on the
mathematical formula of the sphere screen:
Figure img00010001

The resulting cellular numerical difference is then for the half-sphere of: (2,436) * Cii 'e 1024) = 454 cells
2
Or a percentage of: 458 = 11,718
In the same way, this leads to an angular loss of the field of exploration equal to:
1800 - 0. 112eu4) 6-9 58f 26
11718
These margins are a significant thing when you know that
scanning the head of a vital door CT
Lately on the exploration of the internal "soft tissues" of cervical and intestinal order and that these areas unlike those bony
particularly absorb X-rays
The device according to the invention is characterized by an increase and a new distribution of the reference and measurement cells making it possible to remedy the insufficiency of the field of exploration of medical imaging.

When it comes to solving a two-sided problem applicable to a semi-spherical surface, the number of degrees and minutes must be equal to each other and justify the cell count of
re tance and measurement.

Soit: 180# . 2/ = 11# 11# 53"
434
Or: 180 #. 2 / = 11 # 11 # 53 "
434
As a result, the head of a CT scanner will need to
to be fully operational, include 27 cells
reference and 434 measurement cells.

cells being divided into compartments in order to better
be serialized.

The retention cells will thus be divided into 3 comparti
9 cells each.

chacun.
And the measuring cells in 62 compartments of / alveoli
each.

The device of the present invention is particularly
intended for the exploration of the cervical and intestinal zones of the body.
