Abstract

The invention relates to a device by means of which it is possible to monitor the respiration of sleeping infants and which triggers an alarm in the event of respiratory arrest. It consists of a battery-operated sensor which is placed on the infant, on a harness, and which tightens and slackens with the respiration of the infant. At each inhalation, the sensor sends a signal which is received by the receiver unit which is positioned at a distance. This receiver unit analyses the information issuing from the sensor and emitted by the latter and triggers an alarm in the event of an interruption in the emission of signals being received. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for monitoring infants at risk.

Il présente en effet ,un capteur de respiration fonctionnant à pile ,placé sur le nourrisson, qui envoie des signaux sans l'intermédiaire de cable électrique, à un boitier qui analyse ces signaux et déclenche une alarme en cas de non réception du signal. Cette alarme relièe par un cable au boitier peut être laissée dans la pièce où dort l'enfant,ceci dans le but que le choc sonore redéclenche la fonction respiratoire soit à distance pour prévenir les personnes chargées de la surveillance.
