Abstract

The invention relates to a single piece bookrest intended to hold a book in an inclined position in order to allow easier reading or copying-out. It consists of two rigid walls (1) and (2) joined by a fold (3), and two flexible lateral faces (4) folded into an accordion and limiting the separation of these walls. The base (5) of the wall (1) is folded into a triangle dimensioned such as to obtain a rigid base providing good seating for the book resting against this wall. An increased thickness (6) on the end of the base (5) prevents this triangular part from unfolding. Simple folding makes it possible to convert it into a document holder, the base (5) of which acts as a flap. It is held closed by self-gripping fasteners (7). Use according to the invention is particularly designed for young scholars and typists.

Description

 The present invention relates to a one-piece book support intended to hold a book in an inclined position in order to allow easier reading or copying.

 After a simple folding, the book support turns into a document holder.

 There are several types of book support available on the market for reading a book in an inclined position, but they are generally bulky, expensive, and do not respond to the dual use of book supports and document holders.

The book holder for documents according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks. Made of cardboard or polypropylene, it consists of two rigid walls connected by a fold and two flexible side faces folded in accordion and
limiting the spacing of these walls. One of the walls has a base folded along
a triangle ensuring a good seat has a book leaning against this wall. Thereby,
it is both rigid, light, easy to use, inexpensive by design,
compact when folded and easily transportable, therefore particularly
suitable for schoolchildren. In addition, it allows to respond to two distinct uses but
complementary:
- easy reading of a book or document.

According to particular embodiments:
