Abstract

The invention consists of an application method, characterised in that a mixture composed of a water retainer and water is inserted into a plant medium in order to facilitate the diffusion and distribution of the water retainer.

Description

 The device consists of an effective method of applying a water-retaining agent to plant supports.

The method hitherto recommended consisted in introducing the water-retaining powder marketed directly in mixture with the support soil which can be earth, sand, potting soil, and any substance intended to grow and live the plants before the planting or by introduction into the support through a few holes if you do not want to plant the plant.

This method of mixing or introducing powdered water retentor and support soil has often been a failure, in fact the water retentor swells and repels the plant, it comes out of the support, overflows and therefore no longer fills its mission which consists in serving as a water reserve.

 After many experiments, we have developed a method which eliminates the drawbacks mentioned above.

 A preparation is carried out, by mixing water and retention agent, the preparation of which may vary depending on the objective to be achieved.

The 2 examples below are not limiting
The 1st mixture is intended to be introduced into a support (sand, earth, potting soil, peat, etc ...

before planting). This mixture will be more consistent, for example 4 grams per liter of water.

This volume will then be mixed and introduced to the support.

The second mixture is intended to be introduced into the support of the plant containing the roots thereof.

As it is a question of distributing the mixture well, it will be less consistent which will facilitate its good distribution in the support and around our roots which it will supply with water.

The mixture could be lgr5 per 1/2 liter of water.

 The introduction will be made through the holes made in the support or by injection using a syringe all around the plant. These holes or injections going to the roots but especially not below, in order to allow the introduction of the water-retentant swollen with water, with excess water in order to facilitate good distribution in the support and around from the roots, the excess water will leave outside or for the plants in a container (pot, window box, etc.) in the cup to be absorbed then as needed.

One can take advantage of this storage of water to introduce at the same time or incorporated into the retentor even a food for the plant or a substance for protecting the plant.
