Abstract

The main patent application describes a method and a device for thermal regulation of fluidised or mobile beds of pulverulent solids, the device including a fluidised or mobile bed heat exchanger. According to the invention, a pulverulent solid is made to flow essentially from the base of an enclosure in the heat exchanger, including an internal separating partition which defines two elongate adjacent compartments which communicate through their lower part. In the peripheral compartment where the pulverulent solid flows downwards, the fluidisation pressure is less than the fluidisation pressure prevailing in the central compartment where the pulverulent solid rises through the heat exchanger.

REVENDICATION CLAIM Procédé de régulation ou contrôle du niveau thermique dans un traitement en lit fluidisé ou mobile et en continu d'un solide pulvérulent, le procédé comprenant au moins une zone de traitement dans laquelle on introduit ledit solide et on effectue un traitement de ce solide dans une zone à lit fluidisé dense ou mobile, on soutire dudit lit fluidisé dense ou mobile une partie au moins du solide, on envoie cette partie de solide dans une zone de régulation ou contrôle du niveau thermique avantageusement allongée et ayant un axe de symétrie, on procède à une régulation thermique par échange de chaleur indirect avec un fluide, on réintroduit la partie du solide ainsi régulé thermiquement dans ledit lit fluidisé dense ou mobile, le procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'on fait circuler au moyen d'un fluide inerte ou non en lit fluidisé dense ou mobile ladite partie du solide dans la zone de régulation comportant une cloison interne de séparation qui définit deux compartiments adjacents, allongés selon ledit axe et communiquant par leur partie inférieure, l'un des deux compartiments étant disposé à la périphérie de la zone de régulation, l'autre compartiment étant disposé dans la partie centrale de ladite zone, le solide circulant à l'état fluidisé d'un compartiment à l'autre, ledit solide cheminant du haut vers le bas à l'état fluidisé dans le compartiment périphérique, puis circule de bas en haut à l'état fluidisé dans le compartiment central, la pression de fluidisation étant supérieure dans la partie ascendante à celle de la partie descendante.
