Abstract

The ski binding for holding the back of a ski-boot (2) on a ski (1) consists of a base (3) fixed to the ski (1), and a sole-holder (4) which moves on the top part of the base. The sole-holder (4) is pre-stressed by an elastic, flexible tongue (8) positioned in front of the base and supported on the base front. The top end of the elastic tongue is tensioned in a top wall (4d) of the sole-holder (4). The back side of the elastic tongue a touches a front, top support surface forming a pressure-lug (3c) on the base. USE/ADVANTAGE - The flexible tongue progressively bends when the ski-boot sole-holder is lifted from its bottom locking position.
