Abstract

The present invention concerns a cardiac assistance device and its use. The cardiac assistance device is characterised in that it comprises a bag 1 consisting of a semi-rigid wall, having a shape adapted to the outer shape of the myocardium, the bag comprising in its upper open part an annular rim 10 in which a tightening cord 2 is arranged, at least two flexible walls 3, 4 positioned inside the bag and integral with the inner wall of the semi-rigid bag 1 via the periphery of their contour 31, 41, in such a way as to form inflatable bags, and tubes 32, 4e, 34, 44 for supplying gas to each of the bags.
