Abstract

The invention concerns a device forming a probe for clearing a blood vessel. This device comprises a catheter 24 intended to be introduced into a blood vessel 10 partially occluded by an obstruction 12, such as an atheroma, and characterised in that it comprises percussion means 16 making it possible to clear the blood vessel 10 by a percussion effect. By means of the device according to the invention it is possible to clear a blood vessel 10 without risk of perforation.
